Just out of interest...  is there the same problem of non-availability of electric guitars as acoustics?

As much as I like ANY guitar sound, I tend not to venture over to the dark side.  (I know, I know, I should get out more [:I].)

There's really not too much of a problem at this point on the acoustic side Cal.  Other than those new items, most of the catalog is back in stock.  That wasn't the case for the first 7 months of the year when they were out of everything.  They'd receive 100 D10's but they might have backorders for 700!

It took a long time to refill the pipeline with their standard models (their bread and butter), and as a result, the new models had to move to the back burner.

As far as I know, it was the same story on the dark side - I really don't know what's going on over there but I think they're ok now too.

As for the new models, Any day now. Aaaaaaaany day now!

Wiley, don't you think one of these would make a nice prize for Rocket's next puzzle?

No, I haven't seen one.  I would LIKE to see one but I doubt I ever will.

Don't apologize, we make mistakes here all the time.  Welcome to the forum.  I can't answer your question, but I believe they are listed in their catalog.

Hey Flat Top.  The new models we've been looking for are the D64SW, aka The Bluegrass which is a solid-wood dreadnought, and the WB400SW(and SWCE) is their new Baby Jumbo.  These were both announced back in January but haven't hit the street yet.  But don't worry, they'll be out any day now!

So is Flat Top your choice of strings or your hair style?  Either way is good.
Welcome aboard!

The two I'm interested in seeing are:

D64SW The Bluegrass

You know, Rocket, I'd really like to know more about this D64SW.  I looked at the instrument section of the Washburn homepage and there was no mention of it anywhere--nada on bluegrass, dreadnaughts or Southwesterns.

What information is known regarding wood choices, nut width, price range?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Rocket.  Sure do feel dumb [:I] --I need to figure out how to drive this here computer thingie, I guess.  Thanks for the link, it got me there!

Sounds like a nice guitar.  No truss rod cover on the peg head, must adjust from inside the body. I kind of like that clean look!!

Sure hope it's a wide nut model, I'm very interested.  It's not one of the US handmade models, is it?  I figure if it were, they'd be shouting it from the tree tops, so........

Thanks again!
