Pappy, now that it's after Labor Day, are you gonna wear a black hat in November?  [:)]

Edit:  sorry, posted as Shiner again, it's been a really long day... [:I]

Awwww now that hurt my feelers [V][V] You know good and well that the good guys wear WHITE hats. Mine isn't all that white but depending on whether it's cool enough, I'll start wearing my sow belly hat.

That was a photo taken at the September Pearl Jam--Shiner's camera, I think, but perhaps it was strumsalot's.

Pappy's on the left, I'm the Dugly one standing up, and Chad (AKA strumsalot) and Beppi (Chad's wife, Becki) are to the right of Shiner and his beautiful ChildBride.

I've contacted one more Houston area forum member regarding the Pearl Jam event; who knows, we may get to add another to the mix!

I got the play on words, but still, I didn't mind sending him a copy, if he really wanted one.

Shiner, where's that picture from?  Willie Nelson every Saturday night?

PS. Love the hat.

i personally like the guy riding the mule in the picture.  [:D]

cool place.  we went to watch robert earl keen... my brother met us there.

by the time the show was over, you could wade, ankle deep, in beer cans.  and robert walked out... it was late...

he just talked to us like people do.  signed our t-shirts and signed shiner's straw hat.

good times.  :)

i would go there again in a heartbeat.  beautiful country there.

Do you think the Shiner household is going to make it?

The 10-day weather forecast is calling for Sunny Skies and 78 Degrees Saturday.

Chad, my kidneys are working just fine after all (relief, i'm pretty sure i need at least one of those[:)]); turned out i sprained/pulled something badly in my back.

Cal... [grin] Shiner just pulled out hats for this weekend.  they're on the list.  [laugh]

i may be slightly medicated yet this weekend, but just chalk that up as comic relief for everyone.  [:D]

i'm working on my new song, Wild Wood Flower, by the Carter family.

i only have the first part of it [the lead] for Pearl, but give me a bit... i'm going to write down all of the popular songs there and start getting the flatpicking from my teacher.  he really wants me to get over my fear of playing in front of people, and i truly want to learn.  when i play, and i really get it, nothing hurts.  and everything makes sense.  i like that.

i hope to see all of you there.
