Dave hope you have a successful trip to Chicago. I'd steer you either to Buddy Guy's or Kingston Mines...there are rumours that Buddy is moving the club so check the web. His place is on the near South Side. Kingston Mines is on the North Side in Lincoln Park. I prefer Kingston Mines. Mix of local and national acts depending on the night of the week. Have fun!

No - that does not look right.  :(  I wrote their support on Sunday but no reply yet. Frappr was rumoured to be a little unstable but was the only service of this kind I could find... So I thought we could try it anyway - let's hope for the best!

Hello everybody.  Just figured I'd introduce myself here.  My name's Tuck, and I'm from Wisconsin (and sometimes Minnesota).  I just bought my first Washburn the other day, so I'm looking forward to getting it soon.  That about does it for me, I'm going to look around on here some more.

Welcome to the forum Tuck!  [:D]

I suspect this thread isn't looked at too often by the regulars.  I'd suggest starting a new thread/topic introducing yourself... and let's know which Washburn you're getting.

Happy playing

Wow buckethead... you are a lucky man to live that near of the Washburn factory. You should get an visite tour and tell us about it, your impression and give a hello from us to everyone there.

The nearest guitar factory from me is Godin...

Hey Yan, Godin makes some great guitars and some of the best mandolins around. have you visited their Factory?
I now live next to A Gibson factory, but it hasn't changed much since it was a garrison Factory...still love to visit and talk to the guys.
