Thanks, Yes, that is the same one. I replaced the stock custom/custom & 59 for the EMG 81/85. I still don't know if the finger board is ebony or black dyed rosewood. It doesn't look like rosewood, when compared to the other's that have rose, the grain looks different. I'm going to call Washburn and see if they can help. The gold top has DiMarzio DLX Plus mini humbuckers. The WI64PL has matching pearlized humbucker sized P90's.

Wow what a fine collection! I like the Idols... Mostly the blue one...

I was thinking to get the new WI566, Usa model, but in Greece it isn't yet available.
They had the old PI70B USA in offer at 1000 euros (from 1300) but it was too heavy...

Would you mind posting some more pics of them (closeups of headstock, back, set-neck spot, etc...)?

I think Washburn has done a fine work there, in all prices.

I had a Usa Les Paul for 12 years and after buying my x50q I ...sold it!!! With all do respect, Fender and Gibson should open their eyes and check a calendar, it isn't 1958 any more... Also they should change their price tags...

Right to the flames guitar is it an X50profe natural??? I couldn't find one, if you get bored of it, I could do you a favour and come and get it!!!!!:-) :-) :-)

Check some of my guitars

In most of them I have replaced the stock pickups with DiMarzio Tone Zones and installed series-parallel switches. I myself do all the mods. In the white mex strat I put SD Hot rails front and back, again with ser-par switces and changed the 5-way switch connections so I can have both hot rails in (like the middle position in a Les Paul).

My proud Washburns, x50profe w/EMG's and x50q w/Tone Zone's installed by me

A fantastic Korean Cort, out of production now, with strong MightyMite Motherbuckers

Set neck, 24 frets, nice feel , loud as a mad dog and smooth to play!

You lucky people can get cheap guitars in USA.
My amber Highway1 USA strat costs about 900 euros here, when a teachers' salary is about 1200 euros. The white mex strat costed me about 500 euros and the x50profe recently costed me 678 euros in a discount offer. If you order them from Germany (thomann...) the prices are lower but I hesitate to order guitar via internet... Or maybe I'm wrong...

Cheers
Antonis from Greece

I finally got it!
USA PI70B, for 950 euros, original price about 1300 (still you lucky Americans can get it a lot cheaper...)
I changed the metal covered Duncans to MightyMite MotherBuckers (got them from a Cort), very loud and fat pickups! I kept the push-pull coil split option, since the Buckers have 3 wires in order to help you do this.
I also put black pot knobs and black 3-way switch knob.

It has beter upper fret access than a Les Paul, still it is same as heavy I think, as I can remember (I had a USA Les Paul from 1993 to 2005), the neck is thinner (but still a fat neck it is).
Overall it is a fine guitar. The price in Greece is good for a USA model, although I read that some people have got it for 1000 $ or less (this is 700 euros...)

Thanks, she is wonderful. Check the new wi566 coming, in black. How easily can you find now a PI70? It is discontinued. I am sure you can get a good deal in US for a used one (although it is not such a good idea to sell your Idol... )
