There is one up for auction on ebay (Item number: 330212085631)that claims to have Alesis Studio Effects built in.

Looks identical to mine. I don't see anything on my guitar or in the instructions about Alesis Studio, however.

As far as I know, you can't really dial in your own effects. You can change the volume on the presets and copy them around, but there's no way to pick your own combinations or change effects parameters.

Thanks Andy, I am not going to buy it, but it certainly piqued my curiosity, the only other guitar that I know of that has that kind of setup is the Line 6 Variax, for a lot more money.

I've owned this guitar for a few years now (some old, craptacular recordings of mine when I was starting out feature this guitar exclusively - www.myspace.com/thetrueblackwolf). It's a fabulous guitar, really. The absence of a tone knob is a bit of an annoyance, but you can always modify the tone sufficiently using controls on your amp. It has marvelous sustain, and is very comfortable to play. However, if anyone does have the instruction manual, and would like to copy it or something and pass it along, that would be cool, as mine came without it.
