i have the same post on that forum. [:)] it's been identified as a falcon from the wing series, i really want to know its value.  please let me stress i do NOT want to sell it.  no serial number is really throwing me off.  that's like a car not having a VIN.

That might be one of the early 90's Chicago built SB20's. The original Falcon didn't have the SB20 truss rod cover and it had chrome tuners.

please restring your tuners to the inside. There is too much pressure on the nut and it will break.

thanks,

That guitar looks so cool, looks like Bob Marley's guitar. Hold on to it bro. It must sound nice too.

Hi honeywhite11, have you looked under the stick on fret markers to see if the original markers are Round Pearloid or Brass Rings?

Here is a SB20 on USA ebay at the moment with Brass Ring Fret Markers>

    Item number: 370138800730

End of sale should give you some idea of current value. Hope this helps.

DUde,

That is a 90' reissue,   Mine has Brass nut, Brass Bridge,  SN is under electronics cover,    I hope it sounds as good as the originals.  I have loved mine for 30 Years

that is a model A Falcon circa 78/79/ or very early 1980 the truss rod cover is from a later model . Under the stickers it might have the brass ring inlays but early models had perloid.
The back plate IMO is not origonal either it should be wood to match the back of the guitar .

Big givaway as to it being a model A is the jack input is on the front of the guitar it would also have had a brass not as origonal
1981 Eagle
1980 falcon
1980 hawk
1984 tokai superstrat
1984 tokai love rock
