wow- with a wonderbar.....check the serial #.....a positive clue to the date.....my v is very similar, but with a kahler pro......the neck on yours is probably 24 3/4, eh.....i will check my serial # and get more info to you.....you may want to view the toronto v on ebay right now.....buy it now- $429....it was 459 last week.....kahler flyer.....nice axe, yours......!.......cheerio, jim

Hey, a response.  Thanks.  Say hey, what year is your V?  I checked the serial # that is what leads me to believe it is a 84.  Thanks again.

I contacted Washburn CS and they said it was indeed an '84 from Japan, Matsumoku manufactured.  They also said they had no info or pictures that matched.  I did see the one on ebay, a FV-30K, that is almost the same.  The only difference is mine has the holes on the back for the string through application.  Also, I found a website dedicated to Matsumoku guitars.  There are washburn catalogs and price lists from the '80s.  No pictures of this guitar but based on the pics of the FV-30K on ebay and the price list on the Matsumoku site, mine would be a FV-30 or a FV-30V from the tour series.  It is labeled as WHBB (White body, Black binding, Black hadware [?]),lists for $849. -$899.http://groups.msn.com/WashburnGuitarOwnersGroup/84vimnew.msnw?albumlist=2
