Head Hunter Pickup Compatibility
« on: September 13, 2008, 04:06:43 PM »
Dear Friends,

My friend and customer Jeff recently bought a Washburn X3PROLHBCHK electric guitar with washburn Head Hunter pickups and he loves it and the tone is awsome. However he is curious if there is a bridge pickup compatible with the neck Head Hunter which would be a little more percussive on pick attack. Are these Head Hunter pickups made by Seymour Duncan? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanx,

Scotty

The Headhunter pickups are made by/for Washburn. They are Alnico high output. If Jeff wants a different bridge pickup he should choose a sound based on an artist's sound that he likes and find out what that artist is using, then he can try that.
