Oh dear, so many guitars, so little money thats the same year as mine but fitted with the wonderbar. It will be interesting to see the final price as the start bid is already quite a lot more than I paid. Not so sure about his information as to country of origin though. All my digging has convinced me that it was Japanese made, and unless someone who is NOT trying to sell one comes up with undisputable proof that it was made stateside then i'm happy with a Non Wonderbar version M.I.J.
I still wish I hadn't seen it though. But i've just thought of a cracking excuse for avoiding it>>>
It's really hard to find spares for those Wonderbar Trems No gas, No Gas, No Gas.

There was always some confusion about the fact the neck plate said Washburn USA IIRC - but I have to admit I agree in that the Wonderbar puts me off as I have never tried one (! yes, a Washburn fan whose never played a Wonderbar!) and like you I'd be worried about spares, as I have still not found a replacement low-profile bridge saddle for my MG74 after 4 weeks!

Have you tried All Parts, noticed on another thread that they found what they wanted there.

I'd hoped to find a UK supplier as the postage costs willfar outweigh the cost of the saddle ;-)
