Which Washburn is this?
« on: November 23, 2008, 12:14:58 AM »
Sorry. No pic. Just a description. I was at a local blues club tonight and spied a Washburn Jumbo in the corner. Basically, it looked like a J28SCEDL. The only difference being that the fret markers were scalloped rather than dots or diamonds. I would like to have gotten a closer look but didn't know who's it was. Local dealers only seem to sell D10's so this is the first Cumberland or Timbercraft series I've seen. It was absolutely the most beautiful Jumbo I've ever seen.[:p]

Is this '96 Cumberland the one you saw?

That's it. Nice piece! I knew the Washburn Jumbos were popular but had never seen one before. Let me guess. They don't make it anymore? I see that Elderly sold one for $550 and have nicely detailed pics of it. Any more info on them would be appreciated.

They're up for grabs all the time on e-bay and elsewhere. Usually around $450 for good condition...
