Went to the cambridge show, didn't get Hot Leg, Voodoo Six were supporting instead, it's gonna make me sound old, but they were far too loud!!

messed my ears right up, really struggled when extreme were on!!

Nuno did manage to bust an amp right in the middle of the rest in peace solo!!

They look good, and Nuno sure makes them sound good, shame they break easy though!! =OP

was odd that he had 6 cabs, 2 amps, and when it broke he seemed to be plugging in to a combo round the back!!

they're cool amps but there definitely seems to be an issue with reliability. Nuno has a spare rig which is basically a Marshall TSL head, which he runs a Rat pedal through (although he isn't actually using it as a full on distortion, he has the gain set right the way down, so he's using the amps overdrive and pedal just to add a little extra gain). When the Randall breaks down his tech just reroutes his pedalboard (i assume he has it going into an A/B box)to the Marshall

It's not a great advert for them though is it!!!

especially when he doesn't use the spare one of them that he clearly has there!!

Good old Marshall ;OP

My friend got a H&K triamp and that kept on breaking alot too.  Maybe he curses whichever amps he chooses!
Like you say, good ol' Marshall.  Milton Keynes' finest!

Not good news for US music/Randall though, why not just stick a marshall inside the housing and be done with it?  Thats essentially all he is doing by hiding the TSL off stage and stacking those randall cabs at the back.

Youd have thought Marshall would be the more tempting endorsement, seen as their amps actually are usable.

it's gotta be a definite worry for US Music though. What's the betting that Kirk Hammett will have his old Boogie rig with him on the latest Metallica tour stashed behind his shiny new Randalls, and George Lynch as well, even though he's had is signature Randall for a year or so, he still always seems to have Marshalls and Bogners nearby, which definitely doesn't paint a good picture for Randall reliability wise

Hell, we'd never even know if Kirk didn't use the Randall's throughout the entire show, there's plenty of kit on the 'tallica stage and we're gonna be much further away than i was at the extreme gig!!
