Les paul did indeed go, not missed at all! Gibson are so over rated.

new addition is, as you clearly assumed, a secret, for now :P

Ive had a tad more GAS this weekend too.  Ive got a TSL122 combo, purple tolex and silver cloth.  It says special edition on the front but I know nothing about them really.  A steal at $200.

So now Ive got 3 guitars (3 and a half if you count this one) and 3 basses.....just need a nice electro acoustic and Im done with GAS for another year or so.

C'mon Matt, dont be shy tell us what youve got.  Is it one of those funky monkey 'washburn museum N series'  geetars?

Guitar aquisition (sp) syndrome isn't it???

i can highly recomend faith acoustic guitars (on a washburn forum??  the horror!!!!)  my faith venus set me back $350 (coulda got it cheaper on the web, but i had a hangover and i wanted it now!!!)  it's definitely my most played guitar, i love the thing!!!!  the satin finish is great!!

yep...or GEAR aquisition syndrome I cant remember.

Id had a look at those faiths and they seem quite reasonable.  I wouldnt mind a 12 string again but Im up for whatever comes along at the right price.  Something like a Yamaha APX or Washburn EA would be nice, rather than the typical dreadnought thing. Ive done that before and I didnt find them that comfy when standing up to play.

I used my faith a lot at jam nights when i used to go (people seemed suprised to see an accoustic there!!)  and it worked brilliantly just plugged straight in to the amp.

i had a habbit of filling the quiet spots on my own (attention whore much??)

but yeah, great value, great build, great sound, great feel.

only problem i had was when i bought it, the fret ends were poking over the end of the fret board, so needed to be sorted straight away, but nothing major!!

Hmmm... ive been looking at these ibanez 'Exotic wood' series.  They look nice! ever played one?  I like the idea of having an xlr and 1/4 jack output on the guitar. Also do a nice quilted ash 12 string model

If they want to sponser me Id be happy to limit my guitars to just washburn [:)]

those ibanex EW are a very similar spec to the festival series, but about $100-150 cheaper.
