Old Washburn flame top
« on: January 27, 2016, 01:46:58 PM »
This is a re-post as the link in my other post did not work.  Anyone know anything about these guitars?  Washburn SB-10, made in Korea.  Any idea of the value?

I think it is kind of cool looking with the flame top!

Thanks

John

SB-10 Hawk:  Retailed in 1995 for $800, mahogany body, set mahogany neck, rosewood fretboard, acrylic dot inlays,  Eliminator humbuckers,  chrome Grover tuners, Tune-O-Matic bridge...

Most new guitars sell under the retail price.  It's an old marketing technique to make people think that they're getting a deal.  I'm seeing a few used ones that were listed for sale between $375 - $500.   $375 is probably more realistic depending on condition.
