RR-2 Flying V pics and questions
« on: March 29, 2009, 06:09:56 AM »
Hi everyone, I have an RR-2 which as you can see needs of a bit of TLC, and I had a few questions I was hoping someone could help me with.
1. Does anyone know if these were available in any finish / colour other than black?
2. Can anyone help me with a wiring diagram?
3. What is the output jack supposed to look like? It seems to have been replaced at some point and had an aluminium plate put in which doesn't look to be original.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

1. I have seen them in white also but no other colors.
2. I do not have original diagram but this should give you general idea: http://www.seymourduncan.com/support/wiring-diagrams/schematics.php?schematic=3s_1v_1t_3on-offswitches
3. Believe it or not, jack plate actually looks like original one.

Here's a couple of catalogue pics of different colour schemes.

And a link to the RR 40 Page

It's not exactly rare - just not sought after.  If it doesn't bring big bucks, people are less likely to put them on the market.  They do, however, pop up every now and then on ebay and cragislist.  If there was an RR model sought after, it would probably be the RR40, since they were the top of the line RR back then.

I think you can get another color also. If there is no other color is available then you can also use some other methods to change the color based on your need Gokarna . There are methods to change the color based on the requirement of a person.
