Hi everyone, I just purchased a HB-30, In natural finish, I have to say I am very impressed with this Guitar. This is my first Washburn, And won't be my last.

Now I have been searching for more info on this finish and I am not finding too much. Most of the Natural finish's come on the HB-35, I think that is the model.

Was this a one off or something? I bought it used off of Fleabay.

any other info would be great also.

So far I don't see any reason to swap pickups out, I think they sound pretty good.

Stays in tune very well. Just had my tech do a fret dress and set up on it.

Seems solid as a rock too...

The late model 30 and 35's are the same basic guitar, but the 35's have a little more bling. Both maple, same pups, same pots. Everything I've heard about these, even the late model Chinese built, is that they are real nice, particularly for the price you can snag them at.

Yeah the price was just right. Mine is a 05 from what I can tell reading the serial number.

They seem like a under the radar kind of guitar.. I am Glad I found out about it.

What's the serial number ? starts maybe with 94 ? or a 4 ?
Cause if you check the guitar archives you'll find that the HB-30 was made in natural finish in 1994 , as far as i could tell that's the only year in the nineties that they did, i don't know about after 2000, although i have never seen a hb-30 in natural so i don't think so.
I personally have two hb-35's , they are incredible guitars, my personal favourites.
But the hb-30's look awesome too.

Thanks alot Jantjo, I was reading the number wrong. It does start with a 4. I am new to Washburn so reading the serial number is a learning curve.

BTW how to you check the guitar archives?
