Just had mail from a friend turning me on to Bex Marshall and seeing as I'm leaning towards getting a Resonator guitar I checked her out, Hey nice stuff. She's on My Space You Tube Facebook etc. Bit of Bonnie Raitt crossed with Joplin. IMO Well worth a look.

i did a presentation on Django and the invention of gypsy jazz, he is a hero of mine.

thats quite cool!

best Django tribute/cover i've heard was by Mattias Eklundh (lovely guy). his cover of Minor Swing is epic.

check out Eric in the coolest beer advert http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H2IWC1or2gY&feature=related +its a washburn!

Good Ad, just wondering if that washy is custom or stock or maybe had the Reso biscuit transplant. The fret markers give it a custom look.

Very nice, flippin 'eck I see those in loads of stores over here.
Just goes to prove a point really I could phone round all week and not one dealer in the UK would have one IN STOCK
I'm after something I can actually try before I decide and as much as I appreciate Washburns build and history that's not gonna happen in the UK. So it's an Ozark fest at the mo, and I'm having a trip to London pretty soon where, after a couple of emails I have found four shops within almost walking distance of each other with a good supply of different models available to compare.
Don't ya just love shopping?????

Was in Denmark Street on Monday, chucked out of Vintage & Rare Guitars for excessive drooling!

It's not what it was, couple of shops are vacant, felt like many people looking but not many buying. I think that V&R Guitars should have a FSA-qualified sign up, fairly obvious that they are selling many guitars to people into alternative investments. Not surprising with interest rates so low. Am I the only one thinking that ebay hasn't too many bargains at the moment?

If acoustics are scratching where you're itching, go see the good folk at Wunjo Guitars.

dude, no. don't go to Wunjo!

full of fakes bought from china, the carbon copy stuff

loads of Gibson Black Beauties that are close, but so so so fake!

totally agree, Tin Pan Alley is pretty much dead and most of the people working there seem pretty miserable!
