Are there any WI66 Pro in blue?
« on: July 30, 2009, 02:48:50 PM »
Hello,

I have been looking for a WI66 Pro which is rather dificult when one is living in Bogotá, Colombia. Now I discovered in a second hand market a WI66 Pro but it´s in blue, a quilted trans blue type o blue.
You can see the guitar here:

I´ve never seen a blue WI66 Pro before and didn´t find one in the internet. So could anybody please confirm that they exist or is the guitarr in the pictures a copy?

Thanx

Here's a link to a 2009 review of a quilted blue WI66PRO on Ultimate Guitars:

http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/reviews/electric_guitars/washburn/wi66pro-v/index.html

Interestingly, the review refers to stock Washburn pickups as opposed to the Seymour Duncans that, I think, come on all of the WI66s and are on the one you are looking at.

Everything in the pics on the link you provided looks real to me.
