« on: May 21, 2003, 04:14:22 AM »
need help identifying old WASHBURN
I used to have this identical same model (see pic) in white pearl, i bought it new about 1980, I think it was associated with the hawk series.

Bolt neck, double cutaway, M4-clone machine heads, P-bass bridge and pickup, speed knobs...

I cant remember the model number though, does anybody else happen to recall what it was??

here is a picture:

Thats a Wing series bass. They were made from 79-83. The guitars had the model designation SB and then a number. Dont recall what the basses used..........The guitars were also designated Hawk, Eagle, Falcon, etc. Boltons were designated Hawk, so if the basses had the same names and a slightly different number, it would be a Wing Series Hawk, model B(?)SB-5 (or 4), as 4/5 was used for bolt necks.
