I know, it's a grower isn't it!!!

it's still fantastic, think the trem needs to come up a touch on the bass side, getting some buzz all up the fret board, but i can't be bothered to do it properly right now and take out all of the strings!!!

Nick has said that these and the flame top versions are in production, i would guess before they go on general release they will need to get a reasonable stop to be able to make sure they can do a sensible release!!!

nick : why do the n2s have this horrible plastic-looking varnish ??
I can't imagine varnish being less expensive than oil/wax

I agree, Do some without the relicing! Just oil the wood! (Leaving that open for a good joke!)

I'm not talking about the relicing.... all N2s, reliced or not, have this ugly plastic looking matte varnish... i can't see any good reason why, since it betrays the N4's spirit...
early N2s weren't varnished at all...

i had a rep from the factory here last month and i showed him how we oil the N4s.  I'm hoping to get the N2 finish to be very similar to the N4 oil finish.

thanks,
Nick

Sounds good Nick, Please get the finish to be the same! I don't mind my N2's finish... But oil will be awesome!

So you could actually order that custom form fit case from FunkyMunky as well? I want one, it's hot man!! Can you take a picture of the inside of the case with the guitar out of it so I can see the shape?
