First post here. I'm a hobbyist bass player / guitar collector that fell in love with this model several years ago. Unfortunately, I'm moving in towards the city into a small condo, and loosing nearly all of my wall / storage space, and am forced to sell most of my collection.
This is a Washburn A-10 Stage Series Reissue in Blue (Serial #S6036764)
Blue flamed top, off-white trim (head, neck, body), set neck / neck-thru, Floyd Rose Tremolo, EVH D tuner kit ($59), grover tuning heads.
OEM ashburn Eliminator 621 & 623 humbuckers replaced with with EMG 81 & 85 kit (professionally installed by Pink Guitarz (Centreville, VA, no longer in business).
Input jack & toggle switch were also upgraded at the time.
This guitar was purchased from Victor Litz Music Center (Gaithersburg, MD) in 1998 for $499.99. According to the store, this was the last of original stock, with undated origination. During its life on the sales floor, this axe received a ding on the back / left side of the neck (pictured), with a few very small scratches on the bottom. Otherwise, I am a clean-freak about my equipment, and it has been pampered (very good / excellent condition) since. For the most part, I am one of those rediculous collectors that hardly plays the instruments that decorate my walls. Other than it's beautiful looks, the limited use of this guitar yields a very warm, lush and sustained tone.
I am looking to sell for $300, plus $50 shipping to the CONUS. Includes the EMG system (with boxes), EVH D tuner (box, tool), set of new Elixir strings (10-46), and a gig bag. If you are in the DC area, I would obviously welcome a local sale.
Thanks in advance for your interest.
