1981. A 10-12. 12 string
« on: October 13, 2009, 02:43:08 PM »
I have for sale or trade, a 1981 Washburn A-10-12, 12 string. Neck through. Red with black binding and has push/pull coil taps, six tuners on the head stock and six tuners on the body. Brass nut and saddles. It has very little buckle rash and a couple nicks but not bad for a 29 year old guitar. Trades? Mackie 16 channel ONYX, Allen & Heath 16 channel Mixwizard. Will consider trade for larger mixers. Soundcraft and Midas. 262-292-9114 or Email toxc66@yahoo.com.

I'm hoping to get some offers. I need a mixer for my rack so I don't have to drag out my big mixer for smaller shows. I'm hoping for a 16 channel Mackie Onyx or a Allen & heath Mixwizard. Throw me an offer!

I looked in a Sweetwater catalog, and the Allen & Heath sells for $1000, and the Mackie sells for $1400. I doubt if you get that for the 12 string.

I've owned this for about 15 years. It was my main guitar for a few years but I had to start playing lead guitar out of necessity and went to my six strings. I've emailed Washburn and they don't keep any info on it. I'm entertaining offers. I try not to use Ebay. After all of the fees you end up paying them more than they deserve. I figured I would get better responce from Washburn fans here. Throw me an offer. If I get a mixer before I sell it, I'm keeping it. It really is a cool guitar. In fact it's the coolest guitar I've ever owned. Just not practical for the lead position I'm in at the moment.
