D10Q or D10S

Hey guys, new user here.  Also a beginner guitar player (at 44 years old).  Always wanted to learn but never did.  Now I'm going to.  I have a cheap Johnson that I've been learning some chords on the last couple of weeks, but I would like to upgrade it and I've been looking online at a couple of Washburns.  Are the D10S and the D10Q basically the same?  That D10Q looks really nice.  Thanks for your help.

Terry welcome to you. We were just discussing this on another page during the last few days, I'll not rehash it. But I would like to make sure you know about the following dealer. His name is Jon and and if you search FunkyMunky up at the top you can locate a link to send him an email. I've bought from him and he'll give you a better price than you can get anywhere if you tell him you're a member of this forum. If you'd like to peruse his website I've put a link below. He's pretty near you and a very reputable Washburn Dealer. And check out the Acoustic Players Comments Board (one page up) for more on our recent discussions on woods. Hope this helps, I was late starting guitar myself and so regret not starting ages ago.

P.S. Maybe he's not that near to you, I saw the MS in your screen-name and was thinking Missouri, but MS is Mississippi, right? Check him out anyway.
