Washburn D9C
« on: November 22, 2009, 04:37:22 PM »
Greetings,

I have a Washburn D9C that I am playing more and more.  Anyone have any idea what a comparable model is these days - D10S maybe.

I paid a $150 with a hardshell case in 2004 and it plays better all the time.  It seems to play like a more expensive guitar.

Finger picking seems very easy with this guitar and with extra light strings I am getting a very rich tone.  It seems to not to have the dull sound it did when I first got it.

Cheers,
Lawrence E. Harris

What light strings brand do you use, Lawrence?

I got a full set up for my D9C recently and it really plays great.  I play some in DADGAD and it seems to have a deeper tone tha before
