Can someone tell me the model?
« on: December 08, 2009, 12:09:58 AM »
I found a black Washburn X Series [noted on headstock] on eBay that the seller believes to be an X30. However, the neckplate says, Washburn Pro...with an eagle beneath it. Serial # is 0C05083837. Strings go thru body; two double-stack, exposed-pole pickups that I assume to be humbuckers. No whammy. Apparently has rosewood fingerboard. Black tuners that match guitar finish and painted headstock. Can anyone tell me what model this is? I believe the serial number indicates the axe was made in China in 2005.

If it don't have string and don't plug into an amp...I don't need it.

Heres some info I found on the X-30 sounds like its pretty close to what your describing:

Body Solid Alder
Top Solid Alder
Neck Maple/Bolt On
Fretboard Rosewood
Inlays N/A
Tuners Grover® Exclusive
Scale 25.5”
Pickups Washburn® Humbuckers
Bridge Tune-O-Matic
Tailpiece String Thru
Buzz Feiten Yes

Heres a Pic of the front of a X-30 The other two color options are also shown.

Take care!!!
