My Dime Guitars...
« on: December 21, 2009, 08:58:56 PM »
I've been checking out all of the beautiful Washburn guitars on this forum and thought that I would a share photo of mine.  I'm very found of my other guitars too, but I'll save those for a different place...

I purchased the Boogie Bolt (series 1) from Boogie Street Guitars.  There's no skimping on details and materials.  It's a pleasure to play.  I guess that we can't legally call this a Dime guitar. Shhhhh...

My Slime Dime 333 is frequently used.  It was purchased used, but after some pick-up upgrades and a set-up overhaul, it sort of became my beater guitar.  There seems to be a lot of variation with 333 slime finishes.  I like the way that mine looks.

I picked-up the Culprit from an auction about 6 months before Dime's passing... RIP.  It's diffinately a little unique..

Well.... Keep on keepin' on.........

Hey.. How's it goin'?

The Dime 333 was used and I think that I paid around $350 about 7 years ago. It was in good shape. I don't remember how much the Dimebucker and '59 humbuckers were.  The Boogie Bolt was purchased new at around $1200.

That's a very nice collection you have.

That Culprit looks incredibly mint & clean.

Man...  As much as I would like a diamond plate or st3, I'm just not ready to let it go yet. Thanks for the offer though. I'm surprised that you would consider your diamond plate. I noticed that you got it from the madrocker guy. I might accidentally stab someone with a Stealth while trashing around (kidding of course..LOL). This might actually be my loss, but it's not aways about the $$.

trendkiller86 :  If you're still interested in a Culprit, Ed Roman still has a new one for sale. I know that it's been there for several years and I think that he used to have a higher price tag on it.  Anyways...I purchased from Ed Roman once and had no problems.

It's interesting to see my posting re-posted. I'm sure that there are a few people that appreciate the ML styling and unique Culprit.
