Strings on the DS10S
« on: February 06, 2010, 01:16:22 PM »
Hello Everyone,

I'm new to the forum and have returned to playing after a long absence.

I play mostly Bluegrass.  I am finding the strings on my DS10S are really cutting into my fingers.  I am thinking the gauge of the strings is too heavy and wondered what suggestions you had.  I know some of the problem will go away in time as I keep playing, but it has become problematic.

Thanks,

Oleeta

Hi Oleeta, welcome to the forum. do you mean the D10S? Is she set up properly? Strings not too far off the keyboard? I use 12's on most everything with good results.
