What does this mean?
Are y'all looking to endorse established mainstream artists or recruiting up & comers?

ME!!!! I like to have your new mandola..I like it more than anything you have...I would play it on stage all the time...LOL
There is a big need for mandos here, and washburn could push it here and do some good biz. The guy who owns the shop that brings in washys Is a great guy and knows his stuff...but it seems that people here don't know the washy  brand name or think they are expensive..they will go buy crap in stead because it has a popular brand name on it..FENDER ..come on not a great mando..but because of the name they sell like crazy.
I guess the only one here with great star power that could help there is the band Great big sea.  But I still say I would sell them better..and I have.

I'm assuming, (because this is posted under Acoustic Artists,) that you're looking for suggestions in the primarily acoustic realm?

I vote for magoo! Dude is playing live all the time, in a community with a brick and mortar store that carries Washburns in inventory. Make it a journeymans axe. THAT sells.

When I was looking to get a real guitar (after playing a lami Alvarez for a while that you could not play above the 5th fret, because of the high action, and needed a reset), I talked to a session drummer I knew, and he mentioned another brand name, and his comment was all the pros I know play ******, what's that tell ya

You could do that with Washburn in that acoustically crazed maritime province.
