Hi Markd,

Thanks so much for getting back to me so quickly!

Yep, that's the one. The serial number is #587 and I would like to post some pics, but I can't figure out how to get the files uploaded.

Is there a post somewhere on the forum for how to do that? I can't find it in the "Help" section:(

Best,
Tim

I am new here, but I just inherited a 5258 model, s/n 460.  Unfortunately, it is in some need of repair as the metal bridge support is broken.  I am would like to find the part to repair it, so I thought I would start here.  I will post pictures when I find out how to do that.

This would be a Tonk Bros. Washburn from about 1934.  Large body, 15 ½” lower bout arch top, 7 piece laminated neck, 25.5" scale length, carved spruce top, flamed maple back and sides, ebony fingerboard and bridge, ivoroid bound tortoise celluloid pickguard.  It should have bar frets, mother-of-pearl inlayed Washburn on the solid peghead – here is a photo of one I had that should be the same guitar.
