Two Washies and a P-bass
« on: April 09, 2010, 08:22:10 PM »
So I FINALLY got my instruments mounted on the wall...I've been delaying this move for months now. In order from left to right:

(1) 1964 Fender Precision Bass (I've owned it since 1979)
(2) 1989 Washburn EA20B (bought it new back then)
(3) 2009 Washburn M1SDLB mandolin (my newest darling)

I am living proof that, if you are particular about the instruments you acquire, one only truly needs one of each. Yes, I've fallen in love with many guitars, basses and recently mandolins, but I have yet to find an instrument that has the qualities of these three. My personal sound is deeply steeped in the instruments I play. I feel lucky to be stewards to not only the classic P-bass, but also my two Washburns. If I ever had to replace one of them I'd shop around. But likely I'd come back to Washburn in the end.

You just can't beat quality! [:D] [^]
