That is cool looking.  I really like the AB series basses.  I had a black AB20 years ago that I loved.

Looks beautiful and sounds great.  But the bridge is inconvenient and difficult to work with.  Even being exceptionally careful in adjusting one of the saddles' action and intonation, the ultra-thin wire connected to it twisted right off without any tugging whatsoever.  I was trying to move it out of the way of the adjustable screws, which it seems to love getting caught under for no apparent reason.

I had the bass for 2 weeks to the day.  Ugh.

This is going to be a long, frustrating, and pricey investment I feel.  I regret not getting the AB40, which is far less delicate, or a Warwick acoustic bass.  Both are far less delicate at the bridge.  The Warwick also has a nice thumb rest.

Just my 2 cents . . .

Anyone else difficulties with these intonatable monorail bridges?
