Hi,
I'm new here. Just starting to learn guitar. I am being given an EA 14. Any thoughts on this guitar? I would like to learn fingerstyle playing.

Hey man, and welcome to the forums.
The EA's are a damn nice range. Have looked at them myself in the past! And ah, good ol' fingerstyle. DOn't let learning fingerstyle stop you from learning actual guitar! If you can't do it at first, don't worry. I had been playing guitar about 3 or 4 years before i tried fingerstyle. Not that you wont be able to learn it straight away. But what your left hand is doing is FAR more important than your right hand! Especially in the early stages.

Cheers

Ben

Yup. Start with some basic theory, and chording etc. I have been playing seriously for 3 years, and have only just started messing with it..

Washburn N2, Washburn F10S
I've got some other stuff too.. Everything from guitars to a Balalaika.
