Happy Thanksgiving!
« on: November 23, 2010, 08:26:49 PM »
i am very humbled this year.

i have two dear friends that are wondering if their respective ill parent will make the week.  which makes me truly realize a lot of things.

i am sincerely thankful for the friends i have made here.

i am sincerely thankful for gram still being with me, just as wild eyed and bushy tailed as ten years ago.

i am humbly grateful for every one of my Blessings.

i am thrilled that both my kids and their s.o.'s will be here this weekend.  i am blessed to share Shiner's kids.

i just want to tell you all that you share a little place in my life, and i thank you for that.

i started my guitar journey here, and what a wonderful ride it has been.

you rock.

Happy Thanksgiving, and may you all have a Wonderful Weekend of family and friends.

i have officially taken off tomorrow for the first time in 13 years to get a jump start on cooking, airing out the house and making everything perfect for the kids.

best to all of you
k

Shiner is going to be desecrating... ummm... smoking a 20 lb turkey ala beer can chickie style.  [post cold front/projected showers all day.]  this should take him at least 6 hours.

wait, i thought of another one. i'm thankful that my cooking is inside the house.  [LOL]

Back at cha, Childbride. There have been good things shared amongst those that frequent this place, practical as well as ethereal. It's a good thing in an often brutal world.

Happy Thanksgiving to all. I hope that for moments, at least, we each are hit with the gravity of our blessings.

Cheers!
