Newbie here ...

I have an Idol coming via UPS.  I picked up what looks to be a excellent shape WI70.  I am looking forward to its arrival.  It appears to be in excellent shape. I do not know if it was a good deal or not, but I look forward to receiving it.  Here is what I know so far and some pictures (see completed eBay deal below if that is OK).  I think it is a 2005 (SN: 0506076).  I think this is the thick body version. I read the Idol Talk thread.  Any additional history or information on this model is appreciated.  I would especially like to know what hardshell cases can be used with this guitar.

Those Pilsens are sweet--not to mention that Idols are great playing guitars. Congratulations! [8D]

I think the case that is supposed to fit these (hardshell) is the GC37.  I am not sure.  I am assuming this case is no longer made.  Does anyone know who made it for Washburn?

Have you tried contacting Washburn Customer Service?I was able to get a case for my WI70 Pilsen XL from Funky Munky Music,an authorized Washburn Dealer.I believe that it was a GC37.
