question about strings
« on: February 01, 2011, 05:05:08 PM »
My friend gave me an old Washburn D100M that he bought years ago and never played.  I don't know how to tell what guage of strings it needs.  Does anybody know what guage of strings it originally comes with?

I don't think that it really matters what it originally came with. If you don't already have a preference, most modern guitars come with  light gauge strings from the factory.

Hi there music chick.  One could take it to a guitar store and visually compair the diameter of the strings.  An experienced guitar dude at a music store should be able to get a set that will be a good selection for that guitar.......janeguitar.com
