Washburn D56swce review
« on: July 03, 2011, 02:05:00 AM »
I saw this guitar on ebay for a buy it now price of 350usd. The seller said that this guitar was flawless and had only been played once; this seems to be true. This guitar has solid rosewood back and sides, ebony fingerboard and bridge, mahogany neck and old old looking spruce on the top. Electronics, cutaway, mahogany body binding. I had it set up and this guitar; excellent. I have read a great many good things about this guitar and so I had high expectations but this guitar exceeded them. Amazing! Still, the best sounding guitar in the world might very well be my Washburn DD55swce but the D56swce is right behind it. I have to give an honorable mention to my Mumbo Jumbo solid wood dread which sounds excellent and also sounds very similar to the D56, and I also love very much my Washburn D18sw. Now all of these guitars look and sound much better then other guitars costing thousands, I love Washburn acoustic guitars! Why would anyone buy a Taylor or a Gibson?
