Help with info on XB200 please
« on: February 21, 2010, 07:50:20 PM »
Don't know if this has been asked before but here goes - I'm trying to find info on my XB200 Bantam. I don't know what year it is because the serial number is not listed on this site. The headstock has Designed By Grover Jackson on it and the serial number is S5083151. If anyone can help with info and why the serial number begins with an S, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Here's what I managed to find out on my own in case anyone else might be interested - S at the beginning of the serial number shows that it was built at the Samick factory. The first number shows that it was built in 1995, and the Designed By Grover Jackson on the headstock was used on all electrics of that era as Mr. Jackson was product manager.

I just bought one with a Washburn headstock, and a serial # of 7060357.  Says Made in Korea  Beyond that, I got bupkis.
