HB 35 Pickups defined

Had a chance to take my 2009 HB-35 apart for a good cleaning and inspection. The Pickups appear to be made for the HB model. Stamped in the middle of the pickup are the Letters HB, R is stamped also designating rear pickup, an F is used for the Front pickup.

Stickers are printed with Bridge Pick ups BHC Neck Pick ups BHC.
Another sticker carries the RoHS Label.

ohms readings taken with the pickups out and measured directly from the 2 wires coming out of the pickups (no coil taps for these) are as follows.

Bridge Pickup 8.90

Neck Pickup 8.55

So now you can base any pickup swaps out on some good data.

As for me I have mine tuned in perfectly. They are actually bright and articulate. Great blues and lead tones now. I am impressed.

Now for the next question - Anyone ever take the covers off.
