OT: guitars on vaca w the Shiners

We're at south padre island, Texas for a legal seminar (darned the bad luck) and our guitars are in tow. Life is good. I'm looking out at the surf right now, wanting to grab the git and go to the beach, but we drove eight hours today and I have to wait till tomorrow. Life is good. :)

Meh, it's work related. We have an advanced family law conference to attend over the next three days. But if you have to go to school, location, location, location!

They pipe the seminar into our room, so have been strumming and listening... :)

Hey, I like that idea....much easier than having to go to a large meeting room, sit on uncomfortable chairs, all that. I hope y'all are having a great time!!

Just curious, CB....when you travel with a guit, is it one of your acoustics or have you gotten one of those cool electric travel guits like Rocket had?  I know you say most of your time is spent on the dark side these days...

I take a Traveler ultralight. It's just easier; it fits in the overhead bin in planes so I can babysit the git, etc. Shiner travels everywhere w his trusty d10s. It has island stickers, a NAUI sticker and duct tape all over it. (lol)[:D][:D][:D]

Why don't they just send you a CD to listen to, think of the money it would save them! [:)]

They give you a zip drive or you get binders of all the papers. Part of cle (continuing legal education) has always been the traveling. Back in the 70's, lawyers could travel to funky exotic places for cle and write it off on taxes. I think my dad did a bit of that.

Edit: there actually are tons that you can watch directly from your computer or order the materials.
