Flimsy neck
« on: October 16, 2011, 04:09:18 PM »
Can anyone tell me why the neck on my Raven electric seems so flimsy, and is there anything I can do about it?  Compared to my strat and Les Paul, putting any pressure on the neck causes the pitch to shift up.  I realize this will happen on any guitar, but the pitch shift is significantly greater on the Raven than my other guitars, both acoustic and electric.  When I release the pressure, the tuning returns to close to normal, but never exactly back to perfect.  This makes playing the Raven for a gig challenging as I always have to retune.  I love the way the guitar sounds and plays, but it's not reliable like this.

Any suggestions?

Cheers,
Mike
