Enrique Tapicos Signature?
« on: February 09, 2012, 07:45:30 PM »
Hey all,

I have e C60 Zaragosa model serial 9011000016 that is signed and serialized by hand in red ink. I guess it could be 90//000016, hard to tell.[/img][/img]The signature says Enrique Tapicos

Can anybody hazard a guess on this guitars origins?

I picked it up used in Virginia Beach botique guitar store quite a while ago, but can't remember exactly when. Yeah I'm OLD.

Thanks for your musings,  and commentary.

p.s. even if it is a fake or a knockoff or made in lower slobovia, it has wonderful tone, certainly a keeper. This guitar taught me to respect and value Washburn instruments.

Well a yahoo search shows it is a nice looking guitar. There are a few guys on here that really like classical guitars. I would guess they will no more. But i agree probably a 90. tom :) P.S. On 8 numbers , usaly first two are the year.
