I have a Washburn that i really don't know much about and was wondering if anyone could tell me the year or model or anything.
Thanks in advance!

The closest thing we can come up with is a serial number on the inside of the sound hole and we can't read all of it. What i think it says is, 1983000726

Other than that there is just a washburn stamp on the inside

Wow, thats a odd number. Maybe someone with a book, or no,s more than me can help you.  A guess would be 1983, but I really dont think thats rite. the first and second numbers are almost always the year. But you have a whole string of numbers. Tom.    :)

I think on most Festivals, the serial number is inside on the end of the neck.  Try looking there.

We have looked and that number is the only marking on the guitar besides Washburn on the headstock and a stamp in the sound hole.

Later Festivals have a paper label inside, like other Washburns. The first number you gave might be an I, instead of a 1. That would make it "made in Indonesia", in 1998.

That could be. The number is really hard to read and a lot of it is warn out. From the looks of it, i think it is the ea20. Would that be an 87-88 then?

I've bought 2 ea series guitars in the last 18 months a 1982 Woodstock Studio with case for $150 usd and a 1996 EA26 for $350 with case. I see them on Craigslist and Ebay occasionally in this price range. Sometimes as high as $500. Just my observation  :D
