 :) Hi All
I just picked Up a D10s12  2002 year first letters are GC acording to serial # and it is in lovely condition I am curious about the top it is much darker than any I see in pics online almost Adirondak in color or a light cedar the specs say spruce top on most of the sites I visit. either way it has beautiful tone and the back and sides don't look like most pics online either

Welcome.  Spruce will darken as it ages.   My 98 compared to my 2010, almost look like two different woods. Yours would be China made, GC.  What tuners does it have? My Korea, just a 4 years before yours has Grover tuners, just wondering when they changed.  Tom.   :)

It could just aging but it looks alot darker than it's new buddies one that is alot older circa 1978 Lark for instance, Yes I believe it has grovertuners very smmooth and good geariing ratio stable tuning New strings today Dadario ej38 lights sounds great what a job it was my first 12 string change I am sure it will be easier next time It looks real smart  after a good cleaning and polish and new strings :)
