http://www.ebay.com/itm/Early-1900s-Washburn-Bowl-Back-Neapolitan-Era-Right-Handed-8-String-Mandolin-/180804041471?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2a18c2baff   Thought this looked cool,  to me.   I traded my 60th anv, Strat in on my bike, and was looking at his two deluxes, and saw this.    Tom.  :)

Looks like a 1615 style ( renamed 1618 in 1917 ) except for the missing cover on the tail piece.ship................... could be as early as 1910

Nice to hang on the wall, or if you collect.  don't look very playable  and it look to be in pretty rough condition.
my friend had  one giving to him,  he has sunk $300.00 into it ,and its still not the best.
pretty above his fire place.

Classic! I love the color, the look, and just everything about it!
The first instrument that I have learned to play is a banjo. Then
my interest shifted to acoustic guitar.
I play jazz guitar. Learn more about it.

Same for me, the last year or more, all I really care about is unplugged acoustic.   Tom.   :)
