The Tapicas series was part of a group of classical guitars marketed by Washburn.  Various models and wood types.  All were factory made in Asia.  Some of the better grade Washburn classical guitars were based on Ramirez designs, some on Hauser designs.  Most were rather generic, student grade classical guitars.  For example the C40 has the tapicas label.  Specs as follows.

- classic style, spruce top, round soundhole, three-stripe bound body, wooden inlay rosette, mahogany back/sides, mahogany neck, 12/19-fret rosewood fingerboard, tied rosewood bridge, three-per-side nylon head chrome tuners, available in Natural finish, mfg. late 1980s-present.
Grading 100% Excellent Average
MSR $200 $140 $80 - 110 $50 - 70
By 1997, Washburn appeared on the headstock.
