« on: October 30, 2012, 06:06:48 PM »
Being advertised as a X50Pro but I have read in a couple places where some like this were sold for $199 new.  Any info would be helpful.... TIA

Welcome. That could be a X50pro, it has SD pups. A few years ago I bought my first Washburn a X50 for I believe less than 200.00 new.Thats when Washburn changed owners. The list for a X50 was about 800.00. That would of been my first post here. Do you have some full pictures, and the serial number.  Tom.   :)  P.S.   Here is what mine cost. when I looked it up on the net thats how I found this forum.   http://forums.washburn.com/index.php/topic,18942.0.html

Thanks for your help.  No, I don't have the SN yet.  It's advertised locally for $250.  And I would hate to spend 250 for one that cost 200 new.  Not that familiar with the Washburns and can't find a whole lot on this model on the net.

look on ebay and see what it is going for.  that was the top of the line when it was made. Now there RX or somthing like that. All those guitars went fast and cheap, when the company sold. Man I bought a lot of them.  Still have two. The only guitar I regret selling is the White WV24,  or HM24, cant remember which its called. with the phenolic fretboard. I wanted to buy it back but they want like 350.00 for it. If  that  X50 PRO guitar is in great shape I think it is worth it.   Tom.   :)

Thanks Tom, appreciate your input.  I'll see if I can get a S/N from him.  Know more this week.
