washburn wing series white custom
« on: April 14, 2013, 04:56:48 AM »
i have the opportunity to buy a washburn wing series, custom serial number 811710. I'm confused, as i dont know what is custom about it, I cannot find a similar picture,, i need to be certain i am not about to buy some re issue. can anyone shed some light on it[, its ivory white has the wing inlays on the fretboard, it says custom on the headstock under the eagle logo. the abalone edging runs all the way around the bottom of the guitar not like some versions were it stop either side of the bridge. i cant figure how to get photos but if theres anyone can help me please get in touch, my email is    not sure wether Ive found a rare early guitar or wether its a re issue,, the serial number starts 81  suggesting from what Ive read that it will be an 90 or 81 model,, but it has 6 digits which I'm told  the 80s models only have 5, thanks graham
