New Upgrade to my 90's Washburn Festival EA20B
« on: July 15, 2013, 09:33:23 PM »
i felt the original Washburn chrome tuners were loose and can't seem to keep the guitar in tune, so i decided on GROVER ROTOMATIC BLACK 102-18BC 3x3 GUITAR TUNERS, got them used of ebay... can't complain about the price and the guy had good ratings.

I think it doesn't affect the overall value since Grovers are upgrade over the original Washburn tuners.

Black Grover tuners has better appeal than the chrome...  well i think so...  opinions?

I like the black, also.  I would save the originals.  Tom.  :)

thanks Tom...  :)

I kept the original nut, bridge pins (i guess they are made of plastic) and Washburn chrome tuners (the oem tuner gears felt loose) another reason i choose to upgrade the tuners was i notice that higher end Washburn guitars had Grover 18:1 tuners pre-installed.   ;D

Nice!!  :) :)  Tuners look nice, if the old ones were not working than for sure a good choice.  The case looks very solid.
