Is this really a xcustom shop guitar?
« on: July 26, 2013, 12:25:46 AM »
Looking at a guitar on eBay. Dude says it is a Custom Shop guitar because it says "mad in USA' on the back of the headstock, but you can't see it in the pictures. Is this really a Custom Shop guitar?

Welcome. Here is my .02, I would think if it was a USA Custom Shop, that would be a major selling point and it would be  easy to read.  But I am sure some one who really knows will be able to help you, I would not jump on this till some one knows for sure.   Tom.   :)  Well the store has good ratings, and the rest of his stock is real nice.  This seems to be a place to find a nice guitar.   There was a thread on here a while back that now makes me look twice at some made in USA claims , made or assembled?

There is only one shop here and that guitar was made in it. It appears to be a standard USA Idol/Pilsen model. Excellent guitar with quality hardware.

Excellent guitar indeed. Even though I think guitar is well worth asking price, it can be found for $100 to $200 less. I'll gladly sell one I have for $700 :)
