I own a Washburn D10N with a volute headstock and a seven digit serial No 4010600 can any give me some information on it     Thanks Dave

From what I've learned here, your guitar was built in 1994.  It's all laminate, natural finish...spruce top and mahogany back/sides.  Rosewood fingerboard/rosewood bridge, mahogany neck, acrylic inlays and chrome grover tuners, and original MSRP was $279.90.  It was built in Korea, and has plastic nut/saddle/pins. 

I've never played one.  Some of the other threads I found via search said it's not a bad sounding guitar.  Some mentioned swapping plastic for bone/ivory/etc.  Someone else will probably come along and chime in in greater detail.
