From our Customer Service Dept.:

 The D10i never appeared on any pricelists, but I did see a few images online.  It appears to be a regular D10  (pre-solid top) so it has select spruce top and select mahogany back/sides. It might have been produced as an exclusive for a dealer,  but I don't have any data sheets or reference materials for it.

Would of been interesting if it was iroko wood, I've heard it had beautiful sustain.

I just picked up my guitar I bought years ago to play it. I bought it in the mid-90s from a music store in Colorado new, and it is a D-10I. I found the forum when I got curious about if the model was any good, it sounds fine to me, but I am far from a pro. If anyone ever finds out if the I has any special meaning, I'd love to know.
